Adidas, as one of the great global brands, is inseparably associated with sport. Whether it’s football, golf or gymnastics, it’s almost impossible to avoid seeing the three-bar logo in any sporting event. Indeed, Adidas is second only to Nike in the sports clothing manufacturing stakes, with a yearly revenue exceeding $10million.
However, Adidas is more than a sports brand – it’s almost entwined with our culture. A lot of this is down to the shrewdness and business acumen of its owners.
